Precision Information is the brand name for our database of healthcare professionals and managers. It includes detailed information on the people and organisations in the healthcare sector with specific data on their places of work and the various job functions they hold. It is available for rental or on a long-term lease contract.
The database has been built over the last ten years through a combination of desk research – telephone and internet, acquisition, direct mail and survey response.
Precision Information is a fully relational database using a SQL engine and an intuitive front end. It allows our customers to access current, comprehensive and accurate data about their key targets – driving their marketing activity and maximising the return on their marketing investment. Over 35% of the data on a business-to-business database will change in any given year.
Precision is dedicated to identify and validate these changes to ensure the absolute minimum waste within customer budgets. Precision uses a variety of sources to maintain the highest levels of accuracy. The principal source of these data is the healthcare professionals themselves, but information from Sales Representatives, professional organisations and desk research are among the other routes used by the dedicated Data Management team at Precision. No record detail is changed without direct personal communication with the data subject. Our standard protocol involves a follow-up telephone call or postal despatch survey to ensure the validity of the information.
